For nearly ninety years Anglican worship has been offered in the community, first in log cabins, then in a school, then in the community hall. Finally in 1963 Bishop Coleman dedicated a newly-built St. Anselm's church. It became part of the parish of Creston and the East Shore in 1970.
Services are usually held at 1.30 PM the first Sunday of the month.
A feature of the church is the very active choir, who add beautifully to the liturgy under the direction of Mary Carruthers.
As the East Shore becomes a tourist destination and summer resort place we enjoy welcoming more and more visitors to our summer services.
