REPORT FROM THE BOARD

President Merv Syroteuk said that the Hospice and Palliative Care Room at the Swan Valley Lodge has been used intermittently. A card was received thanking the Hospice Society. It stated that the room was much appreciated by the families and visitors of the patients who used the room.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR’S REPORT

Benita Josephson reported a total of 133 volunteer hours in December.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND BOARD ELECTIONS

• Annual General Meeting and Board Elections.
• Entertainment.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

• Treasurer Ivan Josephson will be accepting Membership Fees at the AGM.
• Please renew and continue to support the Society.
• You can also renew by mail or at a Hospice Volunteers’ Meeting.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE

If any one would like to volunteer or nominate someone for the Hospice Board, please contact the Nominating Committee Members Merv Syroteuk, Benita Josephson or Mary Dyck.

Please note you need to renew your membership if you wish to vote at the AGM.

UPCOMING MEETINGS

There is no Volunteers’ Lunch time meeting in January due to AGM.

Next Board Meeting is Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Library Meeting Room.
