Visitors to Kaminoho About Kaminoho
Every August students from Kaminoho travel to Canada to visit their sister town, Creston, B.C. The Creston Option class "Sentaku" is open to grade nine students at the Kaminoho Junior High School. Every year the village and local school board assist students in travelling to Canada.

Preparations start in September as the students learn about Canadian customs, geography, history, money, and of course, language.

With the help of the Creston - Kaminoho Friendship Society in Creston host families are found and a week of typically Canadian activites are planned. BBQ's, camping, fishing, boating, and horseback riding are just some of the activites arranged.

It is an experience of a lifetime for all involved. Many lasting friendships have been forged. Oftentimes, the host families enjoy it so much they decide to make a visit to Kaminoho!
