The First annual Kokaneefest Barbeque was held on May 18th during the Blossom Festival weekend in Creston. The Honeymen kicked the party off on the right foot and Doug and the Slugs hit the stage later and kicked out some serious jams to the Kokanee drinking crowd of 2,000. The barbeque was held in the shadow of the Brewery's new brewhouse and the grounds were the scene of such games as a dunk-tank (no, not a drunk tank), Gravity Wheel, and a kick ass beach volleyball court. The beer was flowing and the party was kickin' . . . the hunnies were out in full force, as the Kokanee drinking studs flexed some serious muscle.     Kokaneefest Barbeque in Creston, it's the only way to kick off the summer in style.
