This 10-week program is open to all women re-entering the workforce. Topics include:

  1. Computer:  Level 1 instruction for all Microsoft Office Applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) as well as Simply Accounting and/or Quick Books.
  2. Interpersonal Skills:  Assessments and instruction on stress management, anger management, communications, assertiveness, teamworking, problem-solving and motivation.
  3. Business Skills:  researching business ideas, market research and developing a business plan.
  4. Job Search Skills:  how to conduct an effective job search, resumes, cover letters, employment proposals, and interview skills.
  5. Certificates:  First Aid

The assumption is that women taking this program have some keyboarding and prior computer skills. If you do not, let KES know so that you can get some introductory exercises.

E-mail Donna Carlyle for more information or call (250) 428-5655.
