Construction began on the PAWS shelter on September 1st, 2006. We have had great support from local building supply merchants, concrete, sand and gravel, excavating and plumbing contractors. Our super crew of volunteers has got all the concrete foundation done and we are ready to start framing.

Sponsor a cat or dog kennel in the new shelter. Beautifully engraved plaques will show your support in building the shelter.  Sponsor a cat kennel for $100.  Dog kennels may be sponsored for $500.

PAWS Shelter as of March 2008

The inside walls have been framed, with the exception of the dog kennels.  Electrical wiring and plumbing will begin next week!  We are applying for grants to help with costs for 2 electric forced air furnaces and 2 heat pumps, as well as for the kennels, and furnishings for the Quiet Room and Grooming Room.  Fingers crossed that they will come through.
