The home of your dreams, for both husband, wife, and family. This house was featured in the garden tours of 2003. We often have weddings in the yard, and with the newest feature, the Victorian strombrella seating area, this will become a favorite place for sitting and picture taking. As well as flowers, there are lots of raised beds for vegetable gardening, as well as raspberries, logan berries, josta berries, blackberries, etc. Inside the picket fence is approximately 1/2 acre.

View the "summer house", a screened 12 x 16 building, with tiled floor. Also, the victorian child's playhouse and play area. As you can see from the pictures, this is a new victorian style home. On the main floor is the master bedroom with it's own bath with jaccuzi tub and walk in closet. A large kitchen, with custom made cupboards, many extras, including a walk-in pantry. Laundry nearby behind closet doors. A bathroom is down the hallway. The fireplace in the living room dates back to 1910, a feature that the house was built around. A formal dining room joins the living room, with a large bay window. Off the kitchen is a family area, that includes a 4 Season's solarium. This is where most of our time is spent, as it's like living in the great outdoors, but with the right temperature. This room has it's own fireplace, and heated tiled floor. The master bedroom also opens into this room. Most of the flooring on the main floor is cherry hardwood. Going up the cherry hardwood custom made stairs, you come to the second storey. Here are 3 more bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a large study, with a balcony. From a side entrance of the house, is a second set of stairs, that go up to the craft/hobby/studio room above the garage, this room is approximately 12 x 35. There are 4 gas fireplaces in the home. On the front of the house outside, is a curved covered porch, where we spend most of our eating time during the summer.View the "summer house", a screened 12 x 16 building, with tiled floor. On the property is a 1500 sq. foot rental house (rent collected $750/mth), numerous outbuildings, a heated shop, 2 cold storage units, a 12 x 20 greenhouse, etc. Sold with the house will be tractors and equipment to service the orchard. There are 1540 lapin cherry trees on the property, 230 peach trees, and 24 prune trees, all in production. In 2006, 2 acres of the cherries were set up to have covers, this year will be the first year that they will be on for the full season. This was a very expensive project, and should guarantee a crop on these 2 acres, regardless of weather. The buyer will own a 1/3 interest in the machine that puts on the cherry covers.
An appraisal was done on March 23, 2007, and the value by cost approach is $1,230,800.
This property is situated about 1 mile from downtown Creston. The house faces east and south, the mountain view is spectacular!
