Welcome to Creston Valley Amateur Radio Club web site. Our club is located in Creston, British Columbia, a small town of 5,ooo residents. Creston is in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

 

Meetings   

Our club meets every Saturday morning at 8:00am, at ABC Restaurant  (122 Northwest, 250-428-7864), excluding July and August. Pleas come and join us for coffee.

REPEATER  

The CVARC operates the VE7RCA repeater on 146.800 Mhz . The repeater Site is on top of Thompson Mountain and covers an area including Kootenay Lake , Castlegar/Trail , Cranbrook/Kimberley , and Northern Idaho. The repeater also has phone patch capabilities and is linkable to other repeaters.

NET

The club also runs a weekly net on our repeater. It is held every Wednesday at 8:00pm (03:00utc). All licensed Amateurs are welcome to join in and say hello
